Welcome Morgan This month Morgan joins SBS as a new Technician. Welcome to the team Morgan, it is great to have you onboard! SBS RolloutSmart Business Systems completes another Small Business / Citrix Rollout for a North Brisbane Firm. This project was completed with minimal downtime for our client, with the install taking place over a weekend. SBS Cloud based solution. SBS completes cloud based solution for a 150+ seat engineering firm, combined with multiple site replication to provide both a highly available, highly accessible and platform independent solution. During October we assisted with the move of one of our clients and project managed the installation of their new phone system. New Terminal Server for North Brisbane client No downtime for this North Brisbane client with a staged rollout of their new Terminal Server. Their existing server can be re-tasked as archived data storage. Welcome back Liam! Team member, Liam returns from his 5 week long trip overseas. It is good to have you back, Liam. More Citrix Certifications Stewart and Liam obtain Citrix Certified Sales Professional 2011. Cloud Solutions Smart Business Systems purchases a HP C7000 Blade Server and begins development of our new cloud solutions, including: online backup, hosted applications and hosted Exchange server. The HP C7000 Blade platform has been certified as Citrix Ready, as Smart Business Hosting is being developed on top of Citrix technologies including: XenServer, XenApp, XenDesktop and NetScaler. Citrix Summit and Synergy Stewart attended the Citrix Summit and Synergy in San Francisco this month. We look forward to his return and in-house training over the coming months. Service Management Gateway SBS announces the System Management Gateway, an online web-based job monitoring system. All help desk / support jobs can be tracked and managed in one location. This is available to all clients to access and utilise immediately. Regional Queensland SBS welcomes a new 15 seat accounting firm to its Regional Queensland client base. We have a growing number of clients and monthly/bi-monthly onsite visits available. Citrix Certified Congratulations to Stewart Williams for achieving another Citrix Certification. SBS is on the move! New premises have been secured in the Kedron area giving SBS a much needed upgrade in space and parking availability. The date for moving hasn't been set yet but it will be soon. The new address details will be posted shortly. Expanding NSW client base Smart Business Systems welcomes their newest client in the form of a 40 seat Accounting Firm in Northern New South Wales. It is great to have them on board. Welcome new clients Smart Business Systems would like to announce two new clients this month. A Medical Practice in the Brisbane CBD and a Property Valuer from Paddington! More Microsoft Certifications Congratulations to Liam Evans on successfully completing his latest Microsoft Certifications. Daniel joins the SBS team Smart Business Systems welcomes Daniel Leth as our new Helpdesk Engineer! It’s great to have Daniel joining our team. SBS Clients SBS celebrates the successful server upgrade for an Accounting Practice in Kelvin Grove. The project encompassed a new Small Business Server along with two new Terminal Servers, and the re-deployment of an existing server to run QuickBooks. We also welcome SBS’ newest client from the Bay Side. We look forward to working with them. |
